After the death of Slavenski’s wife Milena in 1984, most of his legacy was handed over to the Serbian music association SOKOJ. Instruments, furniture, letters, notes, books and photographs from Slavenski’s estate are preserved here to this day and are now on view in Belgrade.
Thousands of over personal items can be viewed at the Međimurje Museum in Slavenski’s hometown of Čakovec. One of the outstanding exhibits is his self-made telescope and an original Trautonium, one of the first electronic musical instruments ever made.
