In 1966, the Međimurje Museum in Čakovec (Slavenski’s hometown) set out to document his entire musical heritage. The museum sent a small delegation to Svetosavska Street 33 in Belgrade where the artist lived with his wife Milena Slavenski until his death in 1955, asking her to donate part of his archive.
The black and white photographs that were taken to document his work give an interesting insight into Slavenski’s life: work materials, furniture, letters, scores, notes, newspaper clippings and souvenirs from various trips are collected here.
