


In 1966, the MeÄ‘imurje Museum in ÄŒakovec (Slavenski’s homeÂtown) set out to docuÂment his entire musiÂcal heriÂtage. The museum sent a small deleÂgation to SvetoÂsavska Street 33 in Belgrade where the artist lived with his wife Milena Slavenski until his death in 1955, asking her to donate part of his archive.






The black and white photoÂgraphs that were taken to docuÂment his work give an inteÂresÂting insight into Slavenski’s life: work mateÂrials, furÂniÂture, letters, scores, notes, newsÂpaper clipÂpings and souÂvenirs from various trips are collecÂted here.Â
